What this covers
These are the terms for EasyDart, the darts app by EXO Solutions. They apply as soon as you use the app. If there is something in them you do not want, do not use the app.
You can also read these terms on exosolutions.nl/darts/voorwaarden, to save or print them. If you ask, we will email them to you, an earlier version too.
What you get
Manual scoring is free, with every game and without a limit. Keeping your matches too.
Scoring with your camera is free for your first 5 matches. A match only counts once you play it out: break one off and it costs you nothing. After that you need Pro.
Pro and paying
In the eurozone Pro costs €1.99 a month or €14.99 a year, including VAT. You pay through Google Play; we never see your payment details. In other countries Google Play charges in your own currency; you see that price in Google Play before you confirm, and that is the price that applies.
Pro is a subscription that renews automatically: monthly or yearly, until you cancel. You cancel in Google Play, and the link below takes you straight there. The subscription then runs until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If the price of your subscription goes up, Google Play tells you first, and you can cancel before the new price takes effect.
Introductory offer
In the first four weeks after EasyDart launches, your first month of Pro is free if you take Pro for the first time. After that you pay the regular price and Pro renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel before that first month is over and you pay nothing. Which subscriptions take part and until when, you see in the app and in Google Play before you confirm.
Starter bonus
If you pre-registered in Google Play, you get 10 extra free camera games once, on top of your regular free games. You get them on the Google account you pre-registered with, as soon as you install and open the app; the app shows you when they have been added. After that they are kept in the app, and they do not expire. They move to a new phone with the Android backup (Cloud backup in Settings), not with a backup file; without the Android backup they are gone when you uninstall the app. They cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be moved to another account. The starter bonus is free and is not sold.
Cooling-off and refunds
You buy Pro in Google Play. The seller is Google Commerce Limited, on our behalf; Google handles the payment, your receipt and refunds under the rules of Google Play.
On top of that we promise: if you regret it within 14 days of your first purchase, email us your order number (it starts with GPA.) and we will refund the full amount through Google Play. You do not have to say why.
What you need
An Android phone with Android 8 or newer and a rear camera, a stand or tripod, good light and the whole board in view. Try it with your free games first: that way you see how well it works for you before you pay.
Place your phone outside the line you throw along, so that a dart cannot hit it.
What the app does not promise
Camera scoring works best with good light and a clear view of the board. Missed a dart? Add it with one tap.
Automatic scoring is technology, not a referee. The app can miss a dart or read it wrong, certainly in poor light or with your board half in frame.
That is why you can correct any score with your finger, and that is how it is meant to be used. If something depends on your match, keep count yourself.
Your legal rights
Pro has to do what we promise for as long as your subscription runs. If it does not, you have a legal right to have it fixed, and if that fails, to (part of) your money back. Email us and tell us what goes wrong.
App updates
As long as you have Pro, we keep the app working and secure with updates. Install them; an old version can keep bugs that have already been fixed.
If something about Pro changes
If Pro changes in a way that gives you less, you will hear about it in the app at least 30 days in advance. If you do not want that, you may stop at no cost and get money back for the rest of your period.
What you may do with the app
You may use the app for yourself, on your own devices. The app, TipNet and the voices remain ours or belong to whoever licensed them to us. You may not copy or resell them, or extract TipNet from the app to use it elsewhere, except as far as the law does allow it.
The voices and the portraits of the callers were made with AI: the voices with ElevenLabs. They are not real callers.
The parts made by others that are in the app are listed with their licence under Licences.
Liability
We are liable for damage caused by the app as the law provides; the rights you have as a consumer always remain. Automatic scoring can miss a dart or read it wrong: check your score when something depends on it.
Your data
What the app does with your camera and your data is described in the privacy policy.
Changes and law
If these terms change, the new text will be here with the date at the top. If a change is to your disadvantage, you will hear about it in the app at least 30 days in advance and may cancel Pro at no cost, with money back for the rest of your period.
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you live in another country, you keep the protection that country's law gives you as a consumer, and you can go to court where you live. These terms exist in five languages; if they differ, the reading most favourable to you applies.
